When Michael's ring arrived, it was simply packaged in a tiny zip lock bag. I wanted to make sure he had a safe place to keep it, and I found the perfect thing! I found him a ring box on eBay that looks like the kind of case you would carry your gear in if you were a touring rockstar. It's pretty sturdy aluminum and it looks really cool with his ring in it!

The Rings Please...
Michael's ring arrived yesterday!
His ring is a high polish titanium 10mm band with a black rubber gasket inlay. I told him that it looks like a piece of machinery. As if he had to fight a robot for it. It's very cool and futuristic-looking. Plus the color of the titanium looks great against his skin.
I've had mine for quite a while. Actually I've had it for nearly 20 years! I'm the oldest grand daughter, so I got my grandma's diamond (my mom's mom). The engagement ring and wedding band have been in their box in my jewelry box for a long, long time patiently waiting for me to find the perfect guy. They were really mangled and the band was cut because my grandma had a bad accident with an industrial mixer (mixing cookie dough). But now, they've been repaired and cleaned and they look gorgeous! They mean so much to me, because my grandparents had a wonderful, loving marriage. I feel like I get to carry that with me in her wedding set.
